Michael Blanchard doesn’t quit when it comes to fighting for people who’ve been hurt. For more than twenty years, he’s stood up for clients against corporations, insurers, and anyone else who thinks they can buy their way out of accountability. His cases have involved catastrophic injuries, auto accidents, trucking, accidents, product failures, and wrongful death. The numbers are big — multi-millions of dollars in some cases — but for Michael, the results are personal. Every case starts with someone whose life was turned upside down.
He didn’t start out on this side of the courtroom. Early in his career, Michael worked at a large defense firm, handling catastrophic injury cases for major corporations. Experience has taught him exactly how the other side operates — how they value cases, how they exploit weaknesses, and what they’re afraid of. He took that insight and flipped it. Now he uses it to dismantle their playbook, case by case.
Michael has tried complex, high-stakes cases to verdict. He has resolved countless other cases where creative strategy and relentless pressure forced corporations and insurance companies to do the right thing without a trial.
He’s a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center (J.D., with honors, 2002) and The University of Texas at Austin (B.A., 1999). He is admitted to practice in all Texas state courts as well as the federal Southern and Western Districts of Texas.
