Kacie attended law school at South Texas College of Law, one of the nation’s most prestigious schools for trial advocacy. While in law school, she received statewide and national recognition for her trial and appellate advocacy skills . When graduating from law school in 2007, the school recognized her with the “Dean’s Most Outstanding Advocate” award.

After law school, Kacie began her career as a litigator, harnessing her trial skills to seek justice on behalf of wronged or injured individuals. She became a personal injury attorney to be a voice for those who’ve been hurt, ensuring they’re not just heard—but empowered to rebuild their lives with dignity and justice. Throughout her career, she has handled cases involving stock fraud, products liability, probate disputes, property rights, car wrecks, workplace injuries, premises liability, and commercial vehicle crashes. She’s also taught as an adjunct professor at The University of Texas School of Law as a trial advocacy specialist. As a result of her commitment to trial work, the National Institute for Trial Advocacy awarded Kacie the noteworthy “advocate” designation. As a result of her commitment to pro bono work, the Texas State Bar inducted her into the Pro Bono College. As a result of her commitment to the community, San Antonio Legal Services Association recognized Kacie as one of the most valuable volunteers in their legal services clinics. Kacie serves on the board of the San Antonio Trial Lawyer Association as its VP of the Women’s Caucus. She has earned her law license in both Texas and Colorado.

Outside of the office, Kacie raises three beautiful boys, three dynamic dogs, two crazy cats, and one happy hamster. She enjoys coaching chess at the boys’ schools, volunteering for the middle school band, and assisting with SALSA’s pro bono veteran and estate planning clinics.
